Jessica Henwick (Game of Thrones, Iron Fist) è entrata a far parte del cast di Godzilla vs. Kong in un ruolo non specificato.
Il film sarà diretto da Adam Wingard (Death Note, Blair Witch).
Del cast fanno già parte Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things, Godzilla: King of the Monsters), il nominato all’Emmy Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), Demian Bichir (The Hateful Eight, The Nun – La vocazione del male), Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead, Black Panther), Alexander Skarsgard (The Legend of Tarzan), Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2, The Hunt for the Wilderpeople), Kyle Chandler (King Kong), Eiza Gonzalez (Dal tramonto all’alba – La serie, Alita – Angelo della battaglia, Bloodshot), la nominata al Golden Globe Rebecca Hall (Iron Man 3) e Zhang Ziyi (La Tigre e il Dragone)
La Legendary ha messo insieme la writer’s room per gettare le basi del crossover. Il team di sceneggiatori è composto da Terry Rossio (Pirati dei Caraibi), Patrick McKay & J.D. Payne (Star Trek Beyond), Lindsey Beer (Le Cronache dell’assassino del re), Cat Vasko (Queen of the Air), T.S. Nowlin (Maze Runner – Il Labirinto, Pacific Rim Uprising) e J. Michael Straczynski (Thor, World War Z).
La saga si è aperta con Godzilla e Kong: Skull Island. Proseguirà con Godzilla II: King of the Monsters, in uscita il prossimo 30 maggio in Italia.
Godzilla vs. Kong uscirà il 28 maggio 2020 in Italia.
